• Accelerated Training Opportunities: Fast-track your career by completing a comprehensive Cadet Training program, including your IFSAC Firefighter I, Hazardous Materials Operations, and basic wildland firefighter training, within your first 12 months. You will also have ongoing opportunities to pursue your specific interests and gain expertise in specialized fields like confined space rescue and technical rescue.
• Fully Equipped: All necessary personal protective clothing, uniforms, and firefighting equipment are provided, maintained, and replaced by the Fire District at no cost to you.
• Immersive Crew Experience: Completing a continuous 24-hour shift allows you to fully integrate and build strong camaraderie with our 24/7 full-time personnel. This extended time on shift provides deeper, hands-on experience working seamlessly alongside the established crews.
